Events from Summer 2016

unnamedFriends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your pens!

Summer is here and along with it the promise of free time and lazy evenings. Who am I kidding? If you have free time, you should be working on your next amazing story! Whether you find the free time or not, there are many upcoming opportunities to learn more about writing process.

Through the League there are two workshops being held in the same place we meet as a chapter, the West Jordan City Hall. The first of these is on editing and will be held July 9. For more information, head over to the League website. Registration for League members is $30.00.

Also, if you have a presentation or panel idea for the League’s Fall Conference, proposals are accepted through the website as well.

The Spring Into Books event was a huge success thanks to the participation of Utah’s finest authors, many of you included. The event was enjoyed by the whole community and was well attended. Planning for next year’s Spring Into Books is already in the works and we envision even greater success. A huge thanks to the sponsors, committee, and volunteers. We couldn’t have done it without you.

To keep up with all the different happenings in our chapter, make sure you are a member of our Facebook group. If you have any questions, I’m more than happy to help.

Yours in the Craft,
Jodi L. Milner
