Jodee Steffensen

Author, Actor and Teacher
My first memory of storytelling was as a young child inventing stories for her siblings about the thunder and lightning during a storm. Imagine my delight in finding out the Greeks and Vikings told similar stories thousands of years earlier! I am a wife and mother or two sons of my own. But, two years ago I married a dear friend and gained ten children! I also went from having no grandchildren to forty-five and ten great grandchildren. I love to garden and play outdoors. Dick and I dabble in theater and can be seen on two Intermountain Health Care commercials.
I admit I am and always have been a compulsive writer. Throughout my life, I’ve turned to writing to celebrate and to mourn, to explore and to share, to scold and to entertain. I’ve tried my hand in all formats: short stories, poetry, plays and novels.
My current titles include an educational collection called “Playcraft Plays,” two young adult books titled “Marley Scrood” and “Wordtrapped,” and an award winning historical romance series “Shakespeare’s Witch,” which contains three titles: “Never Quenching Fire,” “Suited Now for Masks,” and “Stones Dissolved to Water.” My latest title is a contemporary Christmas romance, “Twelve Acts of Christmas.”
All of my stories have an element of romance, because I believe it is a critical part of being human. We all feel the overwhelming need to be loved.

Her novels include:
